Complaint of possible Intoxicated Driver on Highway 149 in Clay County

Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on August 17, 2019 at approximately 3:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Sgt. Jeremy Gabbard arrested T.C. Bowling, 62 of Highway 149.

The arrest occurred when Sgt. Gabbard was dispatched to a complaint on Highway 149 of a possible intoxicated driver. Sgt. Gabbard was observing for the vehicle, he located the vehicle pulling into a residence on Highway 149.

Sgt. Gabbard made contact with the driver, a strong odor of alcoholic beverage was emitting from the individual.

Sgt. Gabbard conducted an investigation and at which time the driver was charged with driving under the influence. The driver blew double the limit on PBT.

T.C. Bowling was charged with:

• Operating Motor vehicle under the influence of ALC/DRUGS/ETC.
