Complaint leads to DUI Arrest in Clay County

Clay County, Ky. -  Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on August 19, 2019 at approximately 7:00 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards along with Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones arrested Heather Bradford, 22 of Clay Carpet Road.Heather Bradford

The arrest occurred when Deputy Edwards was dispatched to a complaint of a vehicle that ran into a ditch on Beech Creek Road.

Upon arrival units made contact with the female driver, a strong odor of alcoholic beverage was emitting from the female driver.

Deputy Edwards conducted an investigation at which time determined the subject was operating the motor vehicle under the influence. The photo attached is courtesy of the Clay County Detention Center.

Heather Bradford was charged with:

  • Operating Motor Vehicle under the Influence of ALC/DRUGS/ETC. .08
