Alabama man arrested two days in a row / Laurel County

Laurel County, Ky. (October 8, 2019) - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Brad mink arrested James A. Horton age 36 of Bridgeport Alabama on Thursday afternoon October 3, 2019 at approximately 3:36 PM.

The arrest occurred off North Laurel Rd., approximately 2 miles north of London after Deputy Mink was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject creating a disturbance and attempting to walk out in front of traffic there.

When Deputy Mink arrived at the scene, he located this individual standing on the white fog line on the roadway and noted that traffic was having to maneuver around him.

James A. Horton was charged with:

  • Disorderly conduct – second-degree 

He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.

This same individual was also arrested on October 2, 2019 on North Laurel Road in London after he allegedly was walking out into traffic fighting with himself and creating a traffic hazard.

This individual was found with two butcher knives and a clown mask in his possession.

James A. Horton was arrested by Sheriff's deputies charged with:

  • Public intoxication – controlled substances 

He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
