KSP Charges Lawrence Co. Man With Child Sexual Exploitation Offenses

Lowmansville, Ky. (October 17, 2019) — On October 14, 2019, Ricky Henry, 32 was charged with 16 counts of possessing or viewing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

Henry was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect possessing files of child sexual exploitation.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Lowmansville on August 8, 2019. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.

Ricky Henry was charged with:

  • 16 counts of possessing or viewing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

Possessing or viewing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor is a Class-D Felony punishable by one to five years in prison. Henry was lodged in the Lawrence County Detention Center.
