Attorney General-Elect Daniel Cameron Appoints Clay County Attorney To Transition Team

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Nov. 20, 2019) — Attorney General-Elect Daniel Cameron has selected Joe White, the Clay County Attorney, to his transition team.

"I am grateful that Joe White is willing to join our transition team. The experience and knowledge that he brings to the table is invaluable, and he will be an important contributor and representative of Eastern Kentucky as we transition into the Office of Attorney General." White was elected as Clay County Attorney in 2018. He has also maintained a civil practice in Manchester since his graduation from the Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 2003.

“I appreciate Attorney General-Elect Cameron’s confidence in placing me on the transition team,” said White. I look forward to helping him transition into office, and I particularly look forward to assisting him fight the drug epidemic and other issues that have hit Eastern Kentucky particularly hard.”

The transition team includes a broad cross-section of constituencies from which General-Elect Cameron will seek advice throughout his term in office.

In an advisory capacity, these men and women from law enforcement, non-profits, federal partners, elected office, and civic groups will provide their unique perspective to the Attorney General-Elect on matters related to the successful transition and staffing of the office.
