CANNON, KY (December 25, 2019) - The Knox County Sheriff's Department is reporting that: A short time after 2:30 PM on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 Deputy Elijah Broughton and several other emergency service personnel responded to an accident with injuries on northbound Ky. 11 in the Cannon community.
Once on scene, Deputy Broughton found a Richlands Fire Department truck that had left the roadway and flipped over coming to rest on it's top.
The driver of the vehicle was taken from the scene by Knox County Ambulance Service and was airlifted for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Richlands Fire Department in this difficult time.
