LONDON, KY (January 18, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston arrested two individuals early Thursday morning January 16, 2020 at approximately 2:12 AM.
The arrests occurred on KY 472 in London following a traffic stop conducted on a beige colored Ford Explorer that was pulling a trailer having no lights on it.
During the stop it was learned that the driver was operating on a suspended license and had an outstanding bench warrant. In addition, a passenger in the vehicle was determined to be under the influence.
The two arrested individuals were identified as:
Lowell David Scott age 46 of Pittsburg, KY charged on:
- A Clay District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of: Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – third offense and other violations
Shannon R. Scott age 45 of Pittsburg, KY charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
