Complaint of hallucinating female on porch of a Paw Paw Road residence / Clay County

MANCHESTER, KY (January 26, 2020) - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on January 25, 2020 at approximately 9:30 PM Clay County Sheriff Sgt. Jeremy Gabbard and CSO Shawn Curry arrested Melissa Asher, 34 of Curry Branch Road.

The arrest occurred when Sgt. Gabbard was dispatched out to Paw Paw Road in reference to a female subject on the porch of a residence hallucinating.

Upon arrival, Sgt. Gabbard conducted an investigation at which time determined the subject was manifestly under the influence of intoxicants.

While being placed under arrest the female subject became disorderly and threatened to cause physical harm to arresting officers. 

Melissa Asher was charged with:

• Terroristic Threatening - 3rd Degree
• Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
