Subject wanted on numerous Arrest Warrants caught on Hwy. 80 / Clay County

MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on February 19, 2020 at approximately 4:10 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Wes Brumley arrested William Robertson, 37 of Shelbiana.

The arrest occurred on Highway 80 when Deputy Brumley conducted a traffic stop for vehicle infractions.

Upon contact with the subject, Deputy Brumley ran the subject’s information through Clay County Dispatch where it was shown the subject’s operator license was suspended.

It was also shown the subject had numerous warrants for his arrest out of Pike County and Hardin County. 

William Robertson was charged with:

• Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operator License
• Improper Equipment
• Failure to Produce Insurance Card
• Failure of Non-Owner Operator to Maintain Required Insurance
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
