Meth Trafficking arrest of London, Kentucky man & Contraband seized during LSO Drug Investigation

LONDON, KY (May 27, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Sgt. John Inman and Deputy Landry Collett arrested Cody M. Blair age 31 of London early Wednesday morning May 27, 2020 at approximately 2:22 AM.

The arrest occurred off Dogwood Springs Drive, approximately 4 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to possible drug activity there.

Upon arrival at the scene deputies found this subject in possession of suspected methamphetamine, methadone, several clear plastic distribution bags, digital scales, and glass smoking pipes. In addition, deputies noted finding numerous used hypodermic syringes throughout the residence.

Cody M. Blair was charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense Opiates
  • Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
