Large Amount of Suspected Meth Seized in Southeast, Kentucky during Complaint Investigation at a Motel

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Deputy Landry Collett, Deputy Tommy Houston, and shift Sgt. John Inman arrested Larry W. Hutton age 63 of Left Hazel Fork Road, Gray, KY early Thursday morning February 4, 2021 at approximately 4:30 AM.

The arrest occurred at a motel in southern Laurel County following a drug complaint investigation.

During the investigation this subject was found in possession of:

  • Hypodermic syringes
  • Snorting straws
  • Digital scales
  • Unused plastic distribution bags
  • A large amount of suspected Methamphetamine

Larry W. Hutton was charged with:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Drug paraphernalia

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
