LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen along with Detective Sgt. Taylor McDaniel arrested Arthur Miniard, age 84, of London on Wednesday evening June 18, 2025 at approximately 6:40 PM.
The arrest occurred on KY 192 in London after deputies observed a red Chevrolet Colorado weaving on the roadway. A traffic stop was conducted where deputies noted detecting a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the driver and observed the driver to have glossy eyes.
Through investigation deputies determined that the driver was under the influence.
Arthur Miniard was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
