Whitley Deputies partnered with Kentucky State Police Troopers

Methamphetamine, Cocaine and Marijuana Seized in Southern Kentucky

WILLIAMSBURG, KY - The Whitley County Sheriff's Department is reporting that: On Tuesday February 23, 2021 Whitley Deputies partnered with Kentucky State Police Troopers to arrest several individuals overnight.

LINDA OHARAOn Tuesday evening, Sgt. Jonas Saunders conducted a traffic stop near Keswick Road.

After an investigation, Sgt. Saunders arrested Linda Ohara for:

  • Possession of a controlled substance-Methamphetamine
  • Other traffic related offenses

In addition, Sgt. Saunders arrested Larry Prince (no photo available) for:

  • Possession of Controlled Substance-Cocaine
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Unspecified

Both were lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.

ALAN RAMSEY

Deputy Chad Estep located Alan Ramsey near Woodbine. Mr. Ramsey provided Deputy Estep and Deputy Coffee with a false name and identifiers.

Alan Ramsey was wanted for:

  • A Parole Violation warrant, escape charges after freeing himself from an ankle monitor
  • Possession of Methamphetamine charges

This individual was arrested and lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.

SHAINA MADDEN

Trooper Brandon Creekmore, Deputy Chad Estep and Deputy Coffee were working extra patrol in the Bee Creek area when Trooper Creekmore stopped a vehicle for multiple traffic related infractions.

Upon investigation, Trooper Creekmore arrested Shaina Madden for:

  • DUI
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance-drug unspecified
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Other traffic related charges

This individual was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.

ALISHA JOHNS

Later in the evening, Trooper Donnie Jones stopped a vehicle on Highway 1804 for traffic related infractions.

After an investigation and K9 search, Trooper Jones arrested Alisha Johns for:

  • Trafficking in Marijuana
  • Multiple traffic related offenses

This individual was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.

Trooper Jones was assisted by Sgt. Jonas Saunders and WPD K9 officer Elijah Hunter. Additional arrests are pending.
