LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Holley Strother, age 20 of London on Thursday afternoon May 1, 2025 at approximately 1:38 PM.
The arrest occurred at a residence off Old Union Church Road approximately 4 miles South of London after Deputy Roberts was dispatched by London -Laurel County 911 Communication Center to a complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Roberts conducted an investigation on an adult female who was determined to be intoxicated and learned that an 18 month old infant boy had possibly been abused there.
Deputy Roberts notified Laurel County EMS and social services to respond to the scene where the infant was found with several bruises to the face and back.
As a result of the investigation, Holley Strother was arrested.
Holley Strother was charged with:
- Criminal abuse – first-degree – child 12 or under
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
