Manchester, Kentucky Woman Jailed in Laurel County during Complaint Investigation

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9 Deputy Jake Miller along with shift Sgt. Brett Reeves arrested Robin Lynn Turner age 42 of Chop Bottom Road, Manchester on Thursday morning August 19, 2021 at approximately 10:15 AM.

The arrest occurred in a business parking lot off U.S. 25 approximately 8 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a female subject who was operating a silver Chevrolet Malibu who appeared to be under the influence.

When deputies arrived at the scene and made contact with the driver, she advised that she was bringing her family to the doctor and that's where she was at.

Deputies noted that the business parking lot was a service station.

An investigation was conducted on the driver who was determined to be under the influence.

In addition, this subject was found in possession of suspected Xanax.

Robin Lynn Turner was charged with:

  • Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
  • Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
  • Prescription controlled substances not in proper container

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
