Prestonsburg Woman facing multiple Charges including Drug Trafficking after Police and EMS respond to Complaint in Knox County, Kentucky

BARBOURVILLE, KY - The Knox County Sheriff's Department is reporting that on Friday, October 22, 2021, Knox County Deputy Jesse Smith responded to a disturbance complaint involving a female at a residence on KY 225 in Artemus.


After arriving at the location and conducting an investigation, Deputy Smith learned that 29-year-old Dayna Jo Hubbard of Prestonsburg, KY had kicked the door open and assaulted another female inside the residence.

A plastic bag containing smaller plastic bags of suspected Methamphetamine and assorted pills was located in Hubbard’s possession.

Deputy Smith arrested Dayna Jo Hubbard charging her with:

  • Burglary-2nd Degree
  • Assault-4th Degree
  • Trafficking in Controlled Substance-1st Degree
  • Possession of Controlled Substance-3rd Degree

This individual was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
