LONDON, KY (April 4, 2022) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler arrested Leonard Jones age 56 of North US Highway 25, East Bernstadt on Friday night April 1, 2022 at approximately 9:20 PM.
The arrest occurred at a residence off north US Highway 25 approximately 8 miles north of London after this subject was charged on a Laurel Circuit Court indictment warrant of arrest charging:
- Theft by unlawful taking – auto – $10,000 or more but under $1 million
- Persistent Felony offender I.
Leonard Jones was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
