Overflowing Crowd present at First of Two Political Forum Events in Southeastern Kentucky

MANCHESTER, KY (April 20, 2022) - In the month of March, 2022, Dr. James M. Davis, Ed.D. announced that a "Meet the Clay County Candidates Political Forum 2022" had been scheduled for April 19-20 in Manchester, Kentucky.

On the evening of Tuesday, April 19, 2022 with an overflowing crowd, the first of this two day event was held in Manchester in the Community Room of the Clay County Library in Manchester, KY.

All candidates in the May 2022 primary election in Clay County, KY were invited to participate:

  • Not all chose to do so

ClayCoNews was present at the event and decided to do video with a device that was currently available to us at the time and there was an unpredictable glitch that occurred during the recording process.

Possibly the effected footage can be made available after review by our technical staff.

Any candidate(s) that was effected by the recording glitch can contact ClayCoNews at  and we will allow them to make a video statement regarding the election if they so desire.

Nearly all the event was recorded with very few glitches and we are going to share those with you on our ClayCoNews YouTube channel.
