Drug Arrest after Deputies on Routine Patrol in Leslie Co., KY discover Driver of Stolen NC Vehicle with Pills

HYDEN, KY - The Leslie County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that on February 17th 2022, while on routine patrol in the Beechfork area of Leslie county, Lieutenant Shane Wilson, Deputy Bobby Roberts and Deputy James Begley arrested two people after a traffic stop for traffic violations.

Aaron Thomas Foreman 28, of Slemp, KY and Ami Hoskins 30, of Wooton,KY were occupying a 2002 Nissan Frontier pickup truck when they were stopped.

During the traffic stop investigation, Deputies discovered the truck was stolen out of North Carolina.

In addition, the eventual search revealed the driver, Aaron Foreman to be in possession of Suboxone pills as well.

Both Foreman and Hoskins were arrested and transported to the Leslie County Detention Center.

Aaron Foreman was charged with:

•Receiving stolen property
•Operating on suspended license
•License to be in possession
•No registration plates
•No rear view mirror
•Failure to wear seatbelts
•Failure to or improper signal
•No tail lamps
•Possession of controlled substance 2nd degree

This individual was lodged in the Leslie County Detention Center.
