LAWRENCEBURG, KY (February 24, 2023) – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at approximately 4:00 PM, KSP Troopers from KSP Post 12, Frankfort responded to an area of Dan Drive in reference to Jacob Murphy pointing a gun at an individual.
Upon arrival, Troopers located Jacob Murphy age 32 outside his residence where he attempted to go back into the house. Kentucky State Police Troopers took Mr. Murphy into custody and transported him to the Shelby County Detention Center.
Jacob Murphy was charged with:
- Wanton Endangerment 1st degree
- Criminal Mischief 1st degree
- Fleeing and Evading on Foot 2nd degree
- Resisting Arrest
This individual was lodged in the Shelby County Detention Center.
