London, Kentucky Man with Fake Meth, over $3,000 Cash, Suspected Heroin and a Gun arrested in Knox County

BARBOURVILLE, KY - The Knox County Sheriff's Department is reporting that on Saturday, February 25, 2023, Knox County Deputy Jesse Smith conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Sears Lane in Gray.

During the stop, Deputy Smith located:

a plastic bag containing suspected Heroin, a glass “meth” pipe, a loaded handgun and over $3000 in cash.

Deputy Smith identified and arrested 44-year-old Keith Bishop of London, KY 

Deputy Smith also located a rock like substance that the accused stated he was on his way to sell to a person as Methamphetamine.

Keith Bishop was charged with;

  • Possession Controlled Substance-1st Degree (Heroin)
  • Possession FOR Sale/Transfer Simulated Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

This individual was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.

Assisting with this incident was the Laurel County Drug Task Force.
