Six Arrests, Illegal Narcotics, Firearms, & U.S. Currency Seized as Madison County Drug Task Force Detectives Conclude an investigation in Kentucky

RICHMOND, KY - (March 22, 2023) – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that: Detectives with the Madison County Drug Task Force concluded an investigation on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, with the arrest of six individuals accused of trafficking controlled substances.

The initial investigation, which began in February, alleges that Andrew Lowery, 49 years old of Detroit, MI, Erik Oliver, 36 years old of Richmond, KY, Britten Combs, 31 years old of Detroit, MI, Eddie Griffin, 50 years old of Detroit, MI, Jason Oliver, 36 years old of Detroit, MI, and Jennings Harris, 63 years old of Richmond, KY were involved in trafficking in illegal narcotics in Madison County.

These individuals have all been arrested and lodged in the Madison County Detention Center, charged with firearm and/or drug trafficking related offenses.

In addition to the arrests, the Madison County Drug Task Force seized Fentanyl, Heroin, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, United States Currency, and multiple firearms, one of which was reported as stolen.

The Madison County Drug Task Force was assisted in the investigation by Gateway Area Drug Task Force, the Richmond Police Department, and Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

The Madison County Drug Task Force is an Appalachia HIDTA funded initiative comprised of Detectives from the Richmond Police Department, Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Kentucky State Police.
