LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Wes Brown arrested Marlene Engle age 62 of East Bernstadt following a traffic stop conducted on U.S. 25, approximately 2 miles north of London on a black colored Chevrolet Tracker for a registration violation on Saturday afternoon May 27th, 2023 at approximately 4:01 P.M..
During the stop it was determined that the driver was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Marlene Engle was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on numerous registration and insurance violations.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
