VIRGIE, KY – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting that KSP arrested a Pike County woman on Friday, June 16, 2023 after illegal drugs were discovered at her residence in the Virgie community of Pike County.
While conducting a search of the home, KSP seized:
- Approximately one pound of suspected Methamphetamine
- Two ounces of suspected Fentanyl
- Twelve ounces of hallucinogenic mushrooms
Additionally, seized from the residence was:
- Quantities of Marijuana
- Drug paraphernalia
- Firearms
- Approximately $4,000 in cash
Sasha Sword, 35, of Virgie, was arrested and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center charged with:
- Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Offense (Heroin)
- Trafficking Marijuana
- Possession of a Handgun by Convicted Felon
- Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
