LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Skyler McFarland along with Deputy Wes Brown and Deputy Joe Breeding are conducting a death investigation after being dispatched to an accident which occurred in northern Laurel County early Sunday morning September 24, 2023 at approximately 2:20 AM.
Deputies report that apparently a male subject driving a CanAm side by side was ejected from it causing a fatal injury.
The deceased individual was identified as: Blake Miller age 35 of East Bernstadt, pronounced deceased at the scene by the Laurel County Coroner Doug Bowling.
Also assisting at the scene were: Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, London Laurel Rescue Squad and East Bernstadt Fire and Rescue.
The investigation is continuing.
