ARRESTED: Wanted Male Subject Allegedly going Door to Door and Exposing Himself in a Southeast Kentucky Neighborhood

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Millard F. Smith age 66 of London, KY on Thursday morning December 28, 2023 at approximately 8:43 AM.

LSO logo Blackand Gold 200The arrest occurred off Mystic Lane, approximately 6 miles southeast of London after Deputy Houston was dispatched to a complaint of an unclothed male subject wandering around the neighborhood of Wren Road.

Upon arrival in the vicinity, Deputy Houston assisted by London City Police Sgt. Troy Truitt were able to locate the male subject.

Initially the male subject gave false information to investigators concerning his identity. However, through investigation it was learned that this individual was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

In addition, an investigation was conducted with neighbors and complainants and it was learned that allegedly this male subject had been going from door to door allegedly exposing himself.

Millard F. Smith was charged with:

  • Indecent exposure – second-degree
  • Disorderly conduct – second-degree
  • Public intoxication – controlled substances
  • Criminal trespassing – third-degree
  • Giving officer false identifying information

In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court complaint warrant of arrest obtained by Laurel Sheriff's Detective Robert Reed charging:

  • Fleeing or evading police – first-degree – motor vehicle
  • Fleeing or evading police – first-degree – on foot
  • Wanton endangerment – first-degree – police officer is victim regarding an incident in southern Laurel County were this subject allegedly fled from officers who were attempting a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle complaint

This individual was lodged in the the Laurel County Correctional Center.
