Drug Trafficker Pleads Guilty, Sentenced Same Day in Southeast, Kentucky

WHITLEY COUNTY, KY - The Williamsburg Police Department reports that on Monday, January 29, 2024, Dewayne Chambers Pled Guilty in Williamsburg, KY to Trafficking Methamphetamine Over 2 Grams.

Dewayne Kenneth Chambers, age 43 of Williamsburg, KY was sentenced the same day of his guilty plea to eight (8) years by the Honorable Paul Winchester.

Trafficking Methamphetamine Over 2 Grams in Kentucky is a Class C felony carrying a maximum sentence of 10 years.

Chambers was successfully prosecuted by Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney John Reynolds and Ronnie Bowling, Commonwealth's Attorney following an investigation by Chad Foley and the Williamsburg Police Department.
