LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Dimitrijs Gilger age 22 of London on Tuesday night January 30, 2024 approximately 8:53 PM.
The arrest occurred off Hawk Creek Road, approximately 7 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to an assault complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies conducted an investigation and learned that allegedly a male and female subject had argued.
The argument turned physical when the female subject hid under a bed and the male subject pulled her out from under the bed by her hair out onto a porch of the residence.
The male then allegedly threw the female onto a woodpile. The female then got back up and into the residence where the male then allegedly threw her off the porch and she landed on a stone walkway.
Deputies noted visible injuries on the female victim.
Dimitrijs Gilger was charged with
- Assault – 4th degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
