WARRANT ARREST OF WILLIAMSBURG, KENTUCKY WOMAN REGARDING THEFT FROM A CHURCH ON HWY 11 IN KNOX COUNTY

BARBOURVILLE, KY - According to the Knox County, Ky. Sheriff's Department, Sheriff Mike Smith is announcing the arrest of a woman for a theft at the Old Poplar Creek Baptist Church’s Ministries.

On January 28th, 2024, Knox County Deputy Lt. Sam Mullins responded to a complaint of a stolen package after it had been delivered to the Old Poplar Creek Baptist Church’s Smith’s Ministries building on KY 11 in the Poplar Creek area of Knox County.

Lt. Mullins identified the perpetrator as 48-year-old Sandra Knuckles Lambdin of Williamsburg, KY and obtained a warrant for her arrest.

On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, Knox County Deputies Lambdin on a Knox County Arrest Warrant.

Sandra Lambdin was charged with:

  • Theft of Mail Matter

In addition, after being taken into custody, Lambdin was also served a warrant from Whitley County, KY regarding:

  • Failure to appear Criminal Trespassing - 3rd Degree
  • Criminal Littering Charges

This individual was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
