LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen along with Deputy Austyn Weddle arrested Dameon McClanahan age 24 of London on Wednesday evening February 28, 2024 approximately 5:55 PM.
The arrest occurred off Cloud Subdivision approximately 6 miles west of London after this subject was charged on numerous outstanding warrants including a Laurel District Court complaint warrant of arrest charging;
- Theft by unlawful taking.
In addition, this subject was charged on a second Laurel District Court complaint warrant of arrest charging;
- Criminal mischief – second-degree
- Criminal trespassing – third-degree.
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of:
- Criminal trespassing – second-degree.
Dameon McClanahan was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
