Victims Identified in Double Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash Thursday Morning on Route 165 at St. Mary’s Road in Harford County, Maryland

PYLESVILLE, MD – Maryland State Police (MSP) are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred Thursday morning in Harford County.

The deceased are identified as Matthew Rockstroh, 36, of Dundalk, Maryland and Bryan Frei, 44, of Jarrettsville, Maryland. Rockstroh was the operator of a Chevrolet Equinox involved in the crash. Frei was the operator of a Toyota Tacoma involved in the crash. They were both pronounced deceased on the scene.

Shortly before 8:30 a.m. Thursday, MSP troopers from the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack responded to Maryland Route 165 at St. Mary’s Road in Pylesville, Maryland for a report of a multi-vehicle crash. According to a preliminary investigation, a 2014 Chevy Equinox, for unknown reasons, crossed over from the southbound lane into the northbound lane of traffic and crashed head-on into Toyota Tacoma.

*The identities of the deceased were being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
