Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Detective/ reconstructionist Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards along with Deputy Brad Mink assisted by numerous deputies are investigating a two vehicle double fatal traffic crash with numerous others injured which occurred on Old Way Road approximately 3 miles east of London on Monday night July 1, 2019 at approximately 9:31 PM.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by Ambulance Inc. of Laurel County, London Laurel Rescue squad, Laurel County volunteer fire department, London fire department, and the Laurel County Coroner’s office.
Additional information will be released by the Sheriff’s office on Tuesday morning after next of kin have been notified and all information has been compiled.
