STANTON, KY (July, 9, 2025) – The Kentucky State Police report that KSP Post 8, Morehead was contacted by the Powell County Coroner on Monday, June 23, 2025 in reference to a death investigation at an Airbnb in Powell County.
When investigators arrived on scene they located a deceased female inside the residence from an apparent drug overdose. She was identified as Kristen Morris, 32, of Winchester, Kentucky.
After a lengthy investigation KSP Detectives on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 arrested an inmate at the Clark County Detention Center, Brian P. Epperson, 44, of Winchester, Kentucky charging him with:
- Murder
At the time of this publishing this individual was lodged at the Clark County Detention Center.
