Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Parrott along with Deputy Kevin Berry arrested a Corbin man on Monday afternoon February 9, 2015 at approximately 1:59 P.M.
Arrested was Douglas Mangum age 42 of Day Road, Corbin, KY.
The arrest occurred off Day road, approximately 9 miles south of London after this subject was charged on 6 bench warrants of arrest spanning three counties to include:
Knox County – failure to appear in court on a charge of assault – 4th degree – domestic violence; another failure to appear in court on a charge of assault – fourth degree.
Fayette County – failure to appear in court on a charge of numerous traffic offenses.
Whitley County – failure to appear in court on a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence and other traffic offenses; failure to appear in court on a charge of operating on suspended or revoked operators license and other traffic offenses; and an arrest warrant for contempt of court regarding flagrant nonsupport with an arrearage of $25,739.
This subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
