Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Charlie Loomis along with Deputy Shawn Boroviak and Deputy John Inman are investigating the theft of a John Deere tractor model 3038 that had a bucket, and blade attached and was reportedly stolen from behind Barnhill Pediatrics on US 25 E, approximately 10 miles south of London early Thursday morning February 19, 2015.
Apparently, the tractor was stolen at approximately 5:28 A.M and found abandoned off Foley road at approx. 10:30 A.M., 2 miles from the location of the theft.
Value of the tractor is $21,000.
Detective Charlie Loomis is following up on leads that have developed on this theft investigation.
