Clay County Emergency Management - Wednesday morning update

Manchester, Ky. - Clay County Emergency Management is reporting that they have talked to both water companies this morning. This is their full report:

The City of Manchester says some customers in the Big Creek/Hector areas should see water later this evening and others restored by tomorrow.

Again this is the current plan barring no issues. Some City customers may experience no water or low pressure for periods of time while work continues.

North Manchester Water reports they are restoring customers daily and will continue to do so until fully restored. They are finding and fixing issues. Some customers may lose water or have low pressure while work continues for periods of time.

We are distributing water today to affected areas fire departments. If you need water and cannot get to the fire department, they will bring it to you.

We are expecting snow again tonight and tomorrow so plan accordingly.

Again if you have water at your home, conserve it to allow the system to recover fully.
