MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION THIS MORNING AS ANY WET SPOTS ON AREA ROADS HAVE REFROZE OVERNIGHT CREATING POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

SNOW WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING AND AGAIN ON MONDAY NIGHT. SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE AGAIN WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

THE EXTENDED FORECAST INDICATES A WARM UP AND A PROLONGED RAINFALL EVENT FROM LATE IN THE WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.

THIS RAIN...IN ADDITION TO MELTING OF THE SNOW PACK...MEANS A HEIGHTENED RISK FOR FLOODING FOR ALL OF EASTERN KENTUCKY.

AS IT STANDS NOW...FLOODING APPEARS LIKELY FROM THIS ALONG PORTIONS OF THE KENTUCKY AND CUMBERLAND RIVER BASINS BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
