Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Detective Jason Back arrested a Chavies, KY resident on Tuesday afternoon March 3, 2015 at approximately 4:27 P.M.
Arrested was Brandi Hurley age 24 of Chavies, KY.
The arrest occurred off Payne trail, approximately 3 miles east of London after an investigation conducted by the Sheriff's office determined that this subject had told a wanted fugitive that they were being sought by law enforcement and provided them with information to avoid capture. The subject was in possession of a wanted person's cell phone.
Brandi Hurley was charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension – second-degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
