Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Brandon Broughton along with Deputy Rick Cloyd and KSP Trooper Jack Riley arrested Charlotte Collins age 33 of Moppin Hollow Road, Manchester on Wednesday afternoon March 18, 2015 at approximately 4:35 P.M..
The arrest occurred off old Ky. 30, approximately 4 miles north of London after officers received information on the whereabouts of this suspect who was wanted regarding the disappearance of two sterling silver rings taken off a desk at a doctor's office on March 17, 2015.
The rings apparently belonged to a staff member at the doctor's practice,and allegedly this subject became scared after taking the rings the day before and wanted to return them the next day.
Charlotte Collins was charged with theft by unlawful taking and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
