KSP find suspected methamphetamine & drug paraphernalia in commercial vehicle

(Science Hill) - On Thursday March 19th 2015 around 12:00 A.M. Officer Keegan Bray with KSP-Vehicle Enforcement stopped a 1999 Kenworth tractor trailer on US 27 four miles north of Somerset in the Science Hill community for commercial vehicle violations.

Upon speaking to the driver and through investigation officer Bray determined that 42 year old Eddie C. Key, of Sparta Tennessee, was operating his commercial vehicle under the influence of drugs.

After searching Key and his vehicle, officer Bray found approximately one gram of suspected methamphetamine along with other drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Key was arrested without further incident and lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.

Officer Bray continues his investigation.
