Arrest - Criminal Trespassing & other charges - Laurel County

 

 

 

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy Rick Cloyd arrested Diane Smith age 40 South Hwy 25, Williamsburg on Friday evening March 20, 2015 at approximately 5:31 P.M.

The arrest occurred on Smith Brewer Road, approximately 4 miles south London after deputies were dispatched to a possible domestic complaint off Smith Brewer Road.

When deputies arrived in the vicinity of the complaint they observed a female subject in the driveway there that appeared to be intoxicated. An investigation conducted by deputies determined that she was under the influence.

In addition, deputies also learned that this female subject had been asked to leave the residence (of the original complaint) and when she refused a physical altercation occurred between the subject and a female subject inside the residence.

Diane Smith was charged with criminal trespassing – second degree; and public intoxication – controlled substances.

In addition, this subject was charged on an outstanding bench warrant of arrest from Pike County charging failure to appear in court regarding a charge of public intoxication – controlled substances.

Diane Smith was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
