UPDATE—The owner of the Coldiron Kwik Mart is offering a $500.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the robberies that occurred on April 12 and April 15. Anyone with information can contact Post 10 Harlan at 606-573-3131.
KSP NEWS RELEASE - Armed Robbery in Harlan County
(Coldiron, Ky.) April 12, 2015, at approximately 6:00 am Post 10, Harlan received a call about an armed robbery at the Kwik Mart in Coldiron, KY. An unknown male subject entered the business wearing a black full-face toboggan, black Carhartt jacket, one black glove, and one gray glove. The subject was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at the store clerks while demanding money. Witness estimate the subject is 5'6"-5'10" and left the store on foot.

(Coldiron, Ky.) April 15, 2015, at approximately 3:34 am Post 10, Harlan received a call about an armed robbery at the Kwik Mart in Coldiron, KY. An unknown male subject came to the service window and brandished a black handgun demanding money and cigarettes. He was wearing a camouflage hat, camouflage coat, a black mask, gray pants and tennis shoes. He was approximately 5 ft. 8 inches tall and between 150-180 lbs. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. He fled on foot around the side of the building.
