Robbery Investigation - Clay County, KY

(LONDON, KY.) – On Friday, April 17, 2015 at approximately 7:56 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a report of a robbery at the Richard White Wood Products log yard located off KY HWY 11 in Clay County.

Upon arrival, KSP Detective Nick Metcalf determined that two male subjects approached a Richard White Wood Products employee as he arrived for work. The two males allegedly entered the office, armed with a handgun, and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene in the victim’s 2014 Chevrolet Silverado company pickup truck with an undisclosed amount of company cash, as well as, an undisclosed amount of the victim’s personal cash.

A search of the area was conducted and the victim’s stolen company truck was located approximately one (1) mile away from the scene off North HWY 11. However the suspects were not located.

The only description of the two suspects was white males wearing hoodies.
