Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that deputy Rick Cloyd arrested Lucas Nantz age 29 of Slate Lick Church Road, London on Sunday night April 26, 2015 at approximately 8:35 P.M.
The arrest occurred off Benjamin Lane, approximately 4 miles east of London after Deputy Cloyd was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject trespassing.
While enroute to the complaint Deputy Cloyd learned that this subject had been asked several times to leave the property and not return.
As Deputy Cloyd arrived at the scene, this subject fled on foot and after a short foot chase and a brief scuffle, this subject was taken into custody. Lucas Nantz was charged with criminal trespassing – third-degree; fleeting or evading police – first-degree – on foot; resisting arrest; and alcohol intoxication, and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
