REWARD Richard White Wood Products Robbery / Clay County, KY

Clay County, KY. - The robbery took place on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Richard White Wood Products' log yard in Clay County, Kentucky.

This was a satellite log yard that was opened on April 1st., the main "Log Yard" is located in Morehead, Ky.

Richard White has been purchasing logs for well over 30 years and is known in the area for having the most competitive prices for logs. Due to the increased overseas orders, a second yard was opened to assist in log volume.

(LONDON, KY.) – On Friday, April 17, 2015 at approximately 7:56 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a report of a robbery at the Richard White Wood Products log yard located off KY HWY 11 in Clay County.

Upon arrival, KSP Detective Nick Metcalf determined that two male subjects approached a Richard White Wood Products employee as he arrived for work. The two males allegedly entered the office, armed with a handgun, and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene in the victim’s 2014 Chevrolet Silverado company pickup truck with an undisclosed amount of company cash, as well as, an undisclosed amount of the victim’s personal cash.

A search of the area was conducted and the victim’s stolen company truck was located approximately one (1) mile away from the scene off North HWY 11. However the suspects were not located.

The only description of the two suspects was white males wearing hoodies.
