MONTICELLO, KY - On May 1st, 2015 at approximately 5:50 P.M, Officers with the Kentucky State Police responded to a vehicle collision located on KY 90, about 3 ½ miles east of Monticello in Wayne County.
At this time, Officers are reconstructing a two vehicle collision in which a passenger car and pickup truck have collided.
3 adults and 3 children are dead at the scene and 2 adults have been transported to the hospital for medical care.
No identities of the victims will be released at this time.

INVESTIGATION HAS DETERMINED THAT A 1999 CHRYSLER CIRRUS PASSENGER CAR WITH 6 OCCUPANTS WAS TRAVELING WESTBOUND ON KY HWY 90.
THE PASSENGER CAR FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON CROSSED THE CENTER LANE AND STRUCK A 2001 DODGE PICKUP THAT WAS TRAVELING EASTBOUND ON KY HWY 90.
BOTH OCCUPANTS OF THE DODGE PICKUP WERE TRANSPORTED TO LOCAL HOSPITALS FOR TREATMENT.
ALL 6 OCCUPANTS OF THE CHRYSLER 2 ADULTS AND 4 CHILDERN WERE PROUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE BY THE WAYNE COUNTY CORONER.
