Complaint of male subject destroying everything in his neighbor's house - Curry Road in Laurel County, KY

 

 

Deputies could hear the male subject inside the residence slamming items, and glass breaking, with an elderly female screaming.

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Jackson along with Deputy Andrew Lawson arrested David Harshberger, Jr age 43 Curry Ln., London early Sunday morning May 3, 2015 at approximately 3:02 A.M.

The arrest occurred off Curry Road approximately 9 miles east of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint that a male subject was destroying everything in his neighbor's house.

When deputies arrived at the scene they observed items on the front porch that had been destroyed along with the front window of the house that had been broken out. Deputies could hear the male subject inside the residence slamming items, and glass breaking, with an elderly female screaming.

The male subject came out on the porch and upon seeing deputies turned and slammed the door.

When deputies opened the door the male subject charged toward deputies attempting to fight deputies and following a brief scuffle with deputies was taken into the custody.

This subject continued to create a scene, disturbing neighbors and causing alarm. This subject told deputies he had drank a fifth of Southern comfort.

This subject had to be carried to the police cruiser by deputies. David Harshberger, Jr. was charged with disorderly conduct – second-degree; criminal mischief- third degree; resisting arrest; and alcohol intoxication and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
