Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy Larry Parrott arrested a Manchester woman on Monday night May 4, 2015 at approximately 7:50 P.M.
Arrested was Patricia Sams age 43 of Highway 149, Manchester, KY.
The arrest occurred KY192 in London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a silver colored Nissan Altima whose driver was possibly under the influence with a seven-year-old child in the vehicle.
When deputies located the suspect vehicle they observed the driver apply the brakes to the vehicle at a green traffic light and the vehicle weave from side to side across the centerline.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and its driver determining that she was under the influence.
Patricia Sams was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense; and wanton endangerment – second-degree and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
The seven-year-old child was released to its father.
