(Frankfort, KY) - The Kentucky State Police is participating in a combined enforcement effort with other state police agencies to target seatbelt use and proper child safety seat use.
This combined initiative, known as the 6-State Trooper Project, started on Monday, May 18, and runs through Monday, May 25.
In addition to the Kentucky State Police, other participating agencies will be the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Pennsylvania State Police, Indiana State Police, West Virginia State Police and the Michigan State Police.

The project is a multi-state law enforcement partnership aimed at providing combined and coordinated law enforcement efforts in the areas of highway safety, criminal patrol, and intelligence sharing.
