DUI, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief & numerous other traffic offenses / Laurel County

Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Larry Parrott along with Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Jason Vance age 50 of Oak Ridge Church Rd., Corbin on Sunday night May 31, 2015 at approximately 8:11 P.M.

The arrest occurred off W. Cumberland Gap Pkwy., approximately 11 miles south of London while Deputy Parrott was on routine patrol and observed a green colored Honda CRV parked halfway in the road there. Deputy Parrott conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle determining that the driver was under the influence.

This subject was arrested.

On the way to the detention facility, this subject began to bang his head on the protective screen in the police car calling the deputy's obscene names.

Jason Vance was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense; disorderly conduct – second degree; failure of owner to maintain required insurance – first offense; criminal mischief – third-degree; and numerous other traffic offenses.

Jason Vance was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
